SALVATION ARMY STOP THE TRAFFIK AWARENESS EVENT
An awareness day was planned as part of an Open-Air Musical Programme provided by Salvation Army Musicians from Hythe Corps in the UK. A small exhibition board with information about 'STOP THE TRAFFIK' along with local information regarding the situation in Estonia, was displayed alongside a table where the public were invited to come and sign a 'Declaration Against Traffiking'. Some were surprised, and there were even those who had no idea that such a situation existed. Hopefully from this small beginning there will be the opportunity to expand the boundaries and raise the profile of this problem of human tragedy that the International Salvation Army has spoken out against. We will add our small voice to that cry for freedom!
