SPEAK & DURHAM UNIVERSITY, UK

SPEAK at Durham University have recently run a STOP THE TRAFFIK fortnight.  SPEAK campaigners dedicated time and effort to an advocacy and awareness drive on people trafficking.  Spanning two weeks, they gained over 600 signatures for the Global Declaration, held an evening of prayer, sponsored silence, campaign stand and a meeting with MP Roberta Blackman.  Following the great success of the fortnight, SPEAK have other events planned for the near future including a talk and short film on trafficking, for more information contact SPEAK at the Campaigns Office, Durham University speak.network@durham.ac.uk.
