The first initiative of the Stop the Traffik Global Fund will be South Asia.

It will focus on one of the major trafficking routes, from Bangladesh, to Kolkata, Delhi and finally, Mumbai—one of the epicenters for people trafficking in the subcontinent. The process is now open for applications of over $US 50,000 per year over a three year period. The deadline for applications is June 1st  2008.
