14th October 2009 START FREEDOM a campaign for young people

A global campaign for schools and young people who will become aware of the issues surrounding human trafficking and realise the power to make a difference.

START FREEDOM launches with a live broadcast from the United Nations HQ in New York.

By signing up you will have access to not only watch the broadcast, but to use a range of START FREEDOM resources, packed with creative activities that help us learn about the issue of trafficking. These will be translated into Arabic, Chinese, English, French, Russian and Spanish.

START FREEDOM will equip us to tell our communities what trafficking is, how it can affect them and what they can do to stay safe and help others. We will create our own community presentations. It may be street theatre, a film festival, a dance tour, an art exhibition, a book published or a community photographic project. You choose.
