At STOP THE TRAFFIK, we are working to create a world where human trafficking does not get the opportunity to happen.

We collect tens of thousands of pieces of data. We measure and evaluate what we do to ensure our approach is the best it can be. We deep dive into the analytics to understand the change we make in the world. And while we’re nerdy enough to get excited about the impact we’re having, it’s not always easy to explain.

The fantastic organisations who do rescue work have an engaging story to tell. They save lives all over the world. They give people hope. They reunite families.

We don’t want to replicate that amazing work. We want to head upstream and build a world where the trafficking business is too difficult and too risky to take place in the first place.

Right now, it is much too easy to recruit millions of people into human trafficking each year. We deeply admire the work of our colleagues who support survivors directly. But without prevention, the continuous cycle of recruitment won’t stop.

So, what does STOP THE TRAFFIK actually do?

1. Gather Intelligence – To build a global picture of trafficking
2. Deliver globally-focused campaigns – To bring our message of safety, hope and choice to those vulnerable to human trafficking
3. Work with businesses and financial organisations – To help them address risk of modern slavery in their operations and supply-chains
4. Build global partnerships – Ending human trafficking is not something we can do alone
